FYS Class:

Class of: 2028

Major/Minor: Nursing Major

Resident/Commuter: Resident

Favorite Class: My favorite class is currently my humanities course. I enjoy the open class communications and discussions with philosophical and ethical nature. It also provides some variation to my schedule of mainly STEM courses.

Favorite Place on Campus: My favorite place on campus is the benches by the lake near the Overlook dorms. It’s relaxing and I like being able to enjoy the fresh air and nature on campus, especially when its sunny out.

Clubs/organizations: I am a part of the Nursing Organization Club. I haven’t been able to attend a lot of the meetings because I usually have labs at the same time. However when I can attend the study sessions I really enjoy them! Plus this club fits right into my major.

Future Plans: I hope to become a nurse (maybe trauma or ER) after I get my bachelors degree.

Favorite Inspirational Quote: If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again.

Advice for First-Year Students: Remember to take care of yourself and prioritize your mental and physical health. Don’t drown yourself in work all the time; make time to have fun and hang out with friends. This will make your studies more manageable and help you in the long run.
