FYS Class:

Class of: 2029

Major/Minor: Elementary Special Education with a Minor in Psychology.

Resident/Commuter: Resident

Favorite Class: My favorite class is my psychology class. It’s my favorite because I love learning about the brain and I think it’s so interesting to learn about all the interconnected parts of the brain and how much your body really does.

Favorite Place on Campus: My favorite place on campus would be the library. I really like just having a space where I can just relax, do homework, and study. I love the study rooms and how you can also sit outside, I like this because it gives me a change of scenery other than just sitting in the library.

Clubs/organizations: I haven’t joined any, yet but I am going to next year. I wanted to see how my first year went and how I can balance both being and athlete and a student. I am interested in joining FTAR and the Neuroscience club.

Future Plans: Become a kindergarten special education teacher.

Favorite Inspirational Quote: “You are BRAVER than you believe, STRONGER than you seem, SMARTER than you think, and LOVED more than you’ll ever know.” -Winnie the Pooh

Advice for First-Year Students: Don’t be afraid to take risks and put yourself in new, uncomfortable situations! You’ll often make the best friends and memories this way :)
