FYS Class:

Class of: 2028

Major/Minor: Accounting Major (4+1)

Resident/Commuter: Commuter

Favorite Class: My favorite class in college so far has been my Critical Reading and Writing class. Professor Thomas, who instructed the class, was so nice, and the well-thought-out debates and discussions we had after our readings created an engaging learning environment.

Favorite Place on Campus: My favorite place on campus is either the 4th floor of the library on the comfortable chairs in front of the windows because of how peaceful it is to get work done or Jlees because I met a lot of my friends in there.

Clubs/organizations: Hiking Club. I have just recently joined and have not yet been to one of the meetings but I am really excited to start going on hikes because I really enjoy going on walks through nature and getting a workout in at the same time.

Future Plans: While I am still in school, I have set a goal to study or intern abroad. My love for different cultures and interest in new experiences I think that going to either Germany or Japan to study business or intern at a company that interests me would really be worthwhile.

Favorite Inspirational Quote: “Once something is a passion, the motivation is there.” Michael Schumacher

Advice for First-Year Students: Make sure to take school seriously, but also don’t be afraid to try new things, make new friends, and step outside of your comfort zone.
