Favorite Class:My favorite class was Global Legal Order with Professor Serban since the way the final was designed was engaging and forced us advocate for another country.

Favorite Place on Campus: My favorite place on campus is the Library since getting work done is difficult somedays but with the open windows and natural light pouring in, it allows you to stay there hours to truly get your work done.

Clubs/organizations: I’m currently the SGA Secretary, Vice President of the Ramapo College Debate Club, Student Member of ALPFA (Association of Latino Professionals for America), and Student Member of the Law School Prep Club.

Future Plans:I’ll be attending various events and holding interviews for LatinoJustice, CLEO, and want to become a Governors Fellow within the next coming year. This summer I’ll be volunteering at a nonprofit legal organization in New Brunswick to gain more experience and will be applying to internships as well. In regard to my future, I want to be a practicing attorney at law at a big firm and then branch on to create my own. I haven’t quite yet decided on what field of law I want to pursue but will figure it out along my journey. I also will continue to be heavily involved in the Ramapo community and bring more people together forming a more unified environment of students to thrive in.

Advice for First-Year Students:I strongly urge first-year students to be open to new possibilities. If someone had asked me back during orientation that I’d be this involved on campus I’d say no way. Utilize your professors and advisors and once you find the pathway you want to pursue, take pride in it; it’ll make you feel 100x better about the uncertainty that comes and goes with the College experience.
