FYS Class:

Class of: 2028

Major/Minor: Biology Major

Resident/Commuter: Resident

Favorite Class: Biology is one of my favorite classes. It’s one of those subjects that keeps you on your toes because there’s always something new to learn. The class was really interactive, and the discussions made it feel like I was constantly discovering something new.

Favorite Place on Campus: My favorite place on campus is the Student Center. It has lounges for studying, dining services, the bookstore, and even outside seating that’s perfect for a nice day. It’s a great spot to get some work done, grab some food, or just relax between classes.

Clubs/organizations: I’m an orientation leader, helping new students feel welcome and get used to campus. I’m also a member of the American Cancer Society, where we focus on raising awareness and supporting cancer research. Both roles let me connect with others and make a difference.

Future Plans: I hope to continue my education and eventually enter the medical field. I’m currently leaning toward becoming a Physician Assistant, so I’m looking forward to the many opportunities ahead!

Favorite Inspirational Quote: “It never hurts to keep looking for sunshine.” -Eeyore

Advice for First-Year Students: Don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone and make friends!
