2010 TD Bank Summer Concert Series Dates are Announced

(MAHWAH, NJ) – The best of rock and pop tribute bands will headline the 2010 TD Bank Summer Concert Series hosted by The Ramapo College Foundation on the college campus.  On four Thursday evenings in July, families from across the region will listen to great music and enjoy a picnic with friends on the Bandshell lawn.   The line up:

July 8 – Jimmy & the Parrots (Jimmy Buffett Tribute)
Presenting the best of Jimmy Buffett along with your all time favorite island tunes, this tribute act will have you singing, laughing, and dancing on the lawn.

July 15 – The B Street Band  (A Tribute to the Boss)
Throughout the country, this Springsteen Tribute band has been rockin’ Bruce fans. Their authenticity has earned the respect and reputation of the music industry.

July 22 – The Glimmer Twins (A Rolling Stones Tribute)
The Glimmer Twins take you back in time to when rock & roll and The Rolling Stones ruled! Enjoy a close-up view and feeling of what it was like to be in the audience at one of the historical performances of the legendary Rolling Stones.

July 29 – Bobby and The Jets  (Elton John Tribute)
This is the ultimate tribute to the music and the magic that is Elton John.  With the look and the sound of Elton perfected, Bobby Lynch dazzles with his stellar playing of a white grand piano.

The concerts, held at the Bandshell on the College campus, begin at 8 p.m.  Concerts are free; parking is $5 per vehicle.  Following the first concert on July 8, Ramapo College will host a fireworks display by Garden State Fireworks at 9:30 p.m.  Fireworks rain date is July 15.  In case of rain, concerts will be held in the Bradley Center Arena.  For more information or to request disability-related accommodations, please call 201.684.7093.
