MAHWAH – The Italian Club, Il Circolo Italiano, at Ramapo College of New Jersey will sponsor an evening with artist and poet Pietro Barbera in April. The event is free and open to the public.
Barbera will recite poetry from his anthology and teach attendees how to paint with wine. Examples of his wine art will be on display. Barbera, of Sicily, is a watercolorist who uses wine as his medium. In addition, he authored a poetry anthology, “Il tempo sospeso.” He also has published a collection of aphorisms, “Affairs Loschi.”
The event will be held Wednesday, April 22 at 5:30 p.m. in Room ASB-135, located in the Anisfield School of Business. Food and beverages will be served. For more information, please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com.
