(Mahwah) – The Ramapo College Alumni Association will host an art auction Thursday, April 26. A preview will begin at 7 p.m. with the auction following at 8 p.m. Presented by Ross Galleries, Inc. of Holbrook, N.Y., the auction will take place at the Robert A. Scott Student Center Alumni Lounges at Ramapo College, 505 Ramapo Valley Rd. Artwork, featuring names such as Wyeth, Picasso, Rockwell and many others, is custom framed and matted. Sports memorabilia and animation cels also will be available. Opening bids are up to 50 percent less than traditional framed gallery prices.

Tickets for the event are $10 and the community is welcome. The ticket price includes a wine and cheese social with hors d’oeuvres during the 7 p.m. preview, and desert following the auction. Proceeds from the auction will go toward student scholarships and volunteer projects of the Ramapo College New Alumni Committee.
