Ramapo College Athletic Alumni Hall of Fame to Induct Five Alumni Athletes

Mahwah) – The Ramapo College of New Jersey Alumni Association will induct five alumni athletes into the Athletic Alumni Hall of Fame in a ceremony to be held Saturday, April 27 at The Pavilion on the Ramapo College campus. The reception will begin at 6:30 p.m., with dinner and the ceremony scheduled at 7:30 p.m. The event will feature the induction of:

  • Jorge A. Comas ’85 of Springfield – baseball
  • John Durkin ’78 of Suffern, NY- Long Term Service Award
  • Thomas Ebert ’80 of Gaithersburg, MD – football
  • Malik El-Amin ’95 of Hillside -football and wrestling (club)
  • Doris Ann Pezzolla ’93 of Lyndhurst – softball

The Alumni Athletic Hall of Fame recognizes and honors those who have made significant contributions to the history of intercollegiate athletic competition at Ramapo College of NJ. The athletes who are members represent the best of all who have participated in varsity athletics at the College.
