(Mahwah) – The Russian American Kids Circus, composed of children ages six to 16 trained by veterans of the world-famous Moscow Circus, will perform Sunday, March 26 at 2 p.m. in the Sharp Theater on the campus of Ramapo College.
The performers will dazzle the audience with soaring acrobatics, synchronized unicycling, daring aerial feats, black-light juggling, and of course, clowning. The Russian American Kids Circus has performed in the United States and abroad, combining the artistry and magic of the circus with the rich tradition of European theater and circus. The performance is a synthesis of circus arts, theater, dance, music and comedy.
In addition to stage performances, the Russian American Kids Circus has appeared at the Millennium Celebration at Epcot at Walt Disney World, Florida; on The Cosby Show, Good Morning America, Good Day New York, and television programs in China, Germany, Japan, Mexico and Russia; and was featured in LIFE Magazine, Nick Jr. Magazine, the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times, among others.
Tickets for the performance are $23 for adults, $20 for senior citizens and $15 for youth. The Sharp Theater is located at the Angelica and Russ Berrie Center for Performing and Visual Arts on the Ramapo College campus. For more information call 201.684.7844.
