Israeli-born Anat Malkin began her violin studies at the age of five with her father, Isaac Malkin. She made her debut with symphony orchestras at the age of six and, at 10, she toured Norway, Mexico and California with orchestras playing the Mendelssohn Concerto. In 1992 she made her Carnegie Hall debut under the baton of the late Alexander Schneider. She has performed throughout Holland, Israel, Italy, the United Kingdom and the United States.

Malkin has been the winner of several competitions that entitled her to solo with various orchestras. Under the direction of Paul Dunkel, she appeared as soloist with the Westchester Philharmonic in a series of concerts for children. She has been heard on New York’s WQXR 96.3FM radio, on the McGraw Hill Young Artists Series hosted by Robert Sherman. In his book, Violin Virtuosos from Paganini to the 21st Century, Henry Roth named her as one of the gifted young violinists who are among the vanguard leading the march of violin art into the 21st century.” A graduate of the Julliard School and the Maastricht Conservatorium in Holland, Malkin is on the faculties of the Manhattan School of Music Preparatory Division and the Academy of Music at Ramapo College.

A native of Texas, Eduard Laurel studied at the University of Texas at Austin and at the Manhattan School of Music. A free-lance pianist, he is on staff at the Juilliard School and Mannes College. He has performed in England, Germany, Iceland, Russia, Korea, China, Japan, Taiwan, Canada and Mexico.
