(Mahwah) – The Capitol Steps, who put the “mock” in democracy, will perform two shows Sunday, February 11 at 4 and 7 p.m. in the Sharp Theater on the campus of Ramapo College of New Jersey.

The group of congressional staffers-turned-comedians have traveled the country satirizing the people who once employed them. Democrat or Republican, everyone is fair game. Since they began, The Capitol Steps have recorded 26 albums, including their latest, I’m So Indicted. They’ve been featured on NBC, CBS, ABC and PBS.

Tickets for The Capitol Steps are $30, $25 or $20 for adults, a five percent discount for senior citizens and $15 for children under 17. The Sharp Theater is located at the Angelica and Russ Berrie Center for Performing and Visual Arts on the Ramapo College campus. For more information call 201.684.7844.

This program is made possible in part by funds from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts/Department of State, a Partner Agency of the National Endowment for the Arts.
