Distinguished Citizens Award Dinner to Benefit Ramapo Scholarships, Faculty and Student Research Opportunities and Campus Capital Projects

(MAHWAH) – The Ramapo College Foundation has announced the recipients of its 28th Annual Distinguished Citizens Award.  The honorees will be recognized at a dinner March 6 at the Rockleigh Country Club.

The honorees are Cathleen Benko of California, a 1985 graduate of Ramapo College who is vice chairman and chief talent officer for Deloitte LLP; Gerry Guidice of Robbinsville, New Jersey, a 1978 graduate of Ramapo College who is head of U.S. real estate for TD Bank; The Honorable Dennis McNerney of HoHoKus, New Jersey who is serving his second term as Bergen County executive, and Stanley Young of New York City, who is CEO, New York Stock Exchange Technologies and co-CIO, New York Stock Exchange Euronext.

The annual benefit dinner raises funds for student scholarships, faculty and student research opportunities and campus capital projects. The dinner will be held Saturday, March 6, 2010 at the Rockleigh Country Club.  The evening will begin at 6 p.m. with a reception followed by a dinner program, dancing and silent auction.  Tickets are $400 per person; tables of 10 are $7,500 (Vice Chair) and $6,000 (Corporate).  Additional sponsorship levels and journal advertising are available.
