Sarah E. Geller will Perform at Ramapo College

(Mahwah) – The York Room Salon Series will present Sarah E. Geller on violin Sunday, March 30 at 3 p.m. in the York Room on the campus of Ramapo College of New Jersey.  Accompanying her will be Vladimir Valjarevic on piano and Robert Burkhart on cello.

Sarah E. Geller has performed at Carnegie Hall, Merkin Concert Hall and Steinway Hall.  She appears at Ramapo College for the first time with a program of Saint-Saens, Mozart, Prokofiev and Mendelssohn.

Pianist Vladimir Valjarevic has performed at Weill Recital Hall, Merkin Hall, Steinway Hall, The United Nations and the Goethe Institute, among others.  He is the founding member of the Hudson Trio with violinist Caroline Chin and cellist Miho Zaitsu. 

Cellist Robert Burkhart has performed live on WQXR’s “Young Artists Showcase,” and at the Liederkranz Foundation, the New York Public Library, Trinity Church and was a featured soloist in the 1999 Chopin Festival. Chamber music appearances include Weill Recital Hall, Bargemusic and a recent tour with the Mark Morris Dance Group.
