FREE WEEKLY EVENING MEDITATION SESSIONS

Come to free weekly meditations this summer at the Mindfulness at Ramapo College. These weekly sessions will be partially guided and are for both new and experienced meditators. There will be a variety of leaders.

FREE INTRODUCTION TO MINDFULNESS

This free introductory session will briefly review the meaning and benefits of mindfulness practices, and then present an experiential introduction to breath-based meditation practice. Suggestions will be offered on how to integrate a simple, but effective, mindfulness practice into one’s everyday life.

.B MINDFULNESS IN SCHOOLS PROJECT: CURRICULUM TRAINING

.b is a fun, engaging and useful ten-session mindfulness course for young people, adapted from the adult courses Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction and Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy. It has been evaluated positively by the University of Cambridge and Oxford Brookes, and can be used in a wide range of contexts and age ranges.
