“Legacies in the Making” (formerly known as the Summer Pre-College Program) invites incoming first-generation students to come to campus early and acclimate to Ramapo College before the start of semester. The purpose of this program is to assist first-generation students with their transition to Ramapo College through workshops, activities, and community building that transform Ramapo into their home away from home.

Summer 2024 Program Dates
Congratulations to our incoming class of 2028! We await your arrival next Fall.
Our Summer 2024 program will take place late August before the start of the semester. Check back here on or after April 1st for more details about this special program!
Summer 2023 Program Dates
Program Dates: August 25 through August 27, 2023
Friday, August 25 (evening move in for residential students)
Please note that family members are permitted to assist their student with move-in. Overnight guests are prohibited during the Summer Pre-College Program.
Saturday, August 26 (opening and programming for residential & commuter students)
Sunday, August 27 (closing and sendoff for residential & commuter students)
Applicants who are accepted into the pre-college program will receive confirmation towards the end of July 2023.
Please note that registration for the Summer 2023 Pre-College Program is closed.
