“Legacies in the Making” invites incoming first-generation students to arrive early and acclimate to Ramapo College before the semester begins. The program helps first-generation students transition to College through workshops, activities, and community building that make Ramapo feel like home!

Summer 2026 Program Dates
The Legacies in the Making Program will take place from Thursday, August 20 through Saturday, August 22, 2026.
>Thursday, August 20 (opening for all students and evening move-in for residential students)
Family members may assist their student with move-in. The program prohibits overnight guests during the Legacies in the Making Program.
Friday, August 21 (programming for residential and commuter student participants)
Saturday, August 22 (programming for residential and commuter student participants)
