Farm to Table: An Earth Day Event

Tuesday, April 18, 2023 @H-Wing Auditorium (H-129)

This day of events has two purposes:

(1) to raise awareness about the Farm-to-Table initiative and the importance of eating local produce

(2) to encourage professors and students to participate in the Farm to Table initiatives at Ramapo College and Passaic County Community College, as well as K-12 schools, by suggesting possible class projects and student organization/club activities

Throughout the day there will be lectures, brainstorming class projects sessions, and a tour of the Ramapo garden. Most events will be in the H-Wing Auditorium (H-129), but also at fishbowl and outside by the Sustainability Center (see the program schedule below).

This event is supported by the PROSPER grant for the Ramapo PCCC 3+1 transfer program that encourages professors to incorporate experiential learning in classes. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Neriko Doerr at ndoerr@ramapo.edu.
