How many credits is the DNP program?

The DNP program is 36 credits

How long does the DNP program take to complete?

The DNP program takes 3 years to complete, part time

Can I attend full time?

No, the program is only offered in a part time format

What is the delivery format?

The DNP program is hybrid in delivery with most work being completed online and a few in person meetings required every semester

When can I start the DNP program?

The DNP program has a Fall start term (September) only

Do I need to have my MSN before applying?

Yes, the DNP is a post master’s program and requires that students have earned their MSN

What is the minimum GPA requirement?

The minimum MSN GPA required is 3.3 on a 4.0 scale

How much does the DNP program cost?

Tuition is approximately $1,140 per credit.

*There is no additional cost for out-of-state students

Are their payment plans and/or employer reimbursement cooperation agreements?

Is there graduate financial aid available?

Yes, Graduate students may borrow up to $20,500 annually under the Federal Direct Stafford Loan programs.
To qualify for a Federal Direct Stafford loan, graduate students must be enrolled for at least 6 credit hours per semester.  Students enrolled for less than 6 credits may consider an alternative loan.
