Weekend Edition 1/19-1/22
Thursday, January 19th are you looking to start off the semester with some fresh new room decorations? If so, join the College Programming Board at Decorate Your Room! This event will provide students with crafting supplies and much more! The fun begins at 10:00 p.m. in the Alumni Lounges.
Friday, January 20th spend your Friday night in the Aux Gym as CPB hosts Roller Skating Night. Stop by from anytime between 9:00 p.m. and 1:00 a.m. to join in on the fun. Free Roller Skate rentals are provided!
Saturday, January 21st join the College Programming Board in at 10:00 p.m. for Silent Library Dance Party. This is event is also known as a Headphone Dance, where each student receives a pair of headphones, linked to one of two DJs. You will not want to miss your chance to have some fun in the Library! Check out this link for a preview of what to expect! Free T-shirts will be given out to the first 50 people in attendance!
But the fun doesn’t end with the weekend! Every Tuesday the College Programming Board presents the Tuesday Night Live Series. Each week features either a live performance by a comedian, musical artist, slam poet, spoken word artist or magician or an open mic night during which Ramapo students have the opportunity to showcase their talent. This Tuesday, January 24th, head over to Linden Hall at 9:00 p.m. for Open Mic Night! This event is cosponsored by WRPR and Linden Hall, and will be the final Open Mic Night of the semester.

Weekend Edition 12/8-12/10
Thursday, December 8th calling all seniors, head over to the Alumni Lounges at 9:00 p.m. for Grad 150: Senior Sit Back and Relax! This event, exclusive to members of the class of 2017, will feature massages, foot spas, and a smoothie bar. In addition, the first 50 seniors in attendance will receive free T Shirts! At 10:00 p.m., all students are invited to attend the College Programming Board’s Spa Night! Also in the Alumni Lounges, this event will provide free Massages, foot spas, and more for all to enjoy! Be sure to stop by for a relaxing, stress free evening.
Friday, December 9th stop by H-129 for Holiday Movie Night. The College Programming Board is hosting a screening of the popular film National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. All are welcome to attend!
Saturday, December 10th wear your Ramapo gear and head to the Bradley Center to support the Women’s Basketball team in their 1:00 p.m. game against Kean University. Then, support the Men’s Basketball team as they take on Kean University University at 3:00 p.m. Fans are encouraged to participate in the Ramapo Athletics Program’s Toy Drive. Anyone who brings an unwrapped toy to either of the games will receive free admission! In the evening, head to the Pavilion and join the College Programming Board and Alpha Omicron Pi at 9:00 p.m for the Snowball Semi Formal! This event is one of the biggest events of the semester, and will include an evening of food, dancing, and fun! All proceeds will benefit the Jimmy Fund, which supports pediatric and adult cancer care at the Dana-Farber Cancer institute in Boston. Tickets are $10, and can be purchased at Roadrunner Central or at the door on Saturday. Italian food, Mocktails, and Cinnabon will be served!

Weekend Edition 12/1-12/3
Thursday, December 1st have a magical start to your weekend by attending the After Dark: Yule Ball at 10:00 p.m. in Friends Hall. This Winter Wonderland event, sponsored by Dumbledore’s Army, will feature musical performances by DJ Ode and 4Gotten Suitcase. A delicious array of food will be provided from Nickys, Cars, and Chicken and Rib Crib. Formal dress is recommended.
Friday, December 2nd feel the Holiday Spirit by joining the College Programming Board for Gingerbread House Making. Materials will be provided for students to create their own gingerbread houses and take them home! The fun begins at 10:00 p.m. in Friends Hall.
Saturday, December 3rd wear your Ramapo gear and head to the Bradley Center to support the Men’s Basketball team in their 1:00 p.m. game against Stockton University. Stick around for the Men’s and Women’s Swim Team’s meet against Lehman College at 2:00 p.m. Later, support the Women’s Basketball team as they take on Stockton University at 3:00 p.m. In the evening, head to Friends Hall and join the College Programming Board at 10:00 p.m in Friends Hall for Painting and Mocktails. Sip Mocktails while a professional artist will be guides students on how to create your own painting masterpiece.
But the fun doesn’t end with the weekend! Every Tuesday the College Programming Board presents the Tuesday Night Live Series. Each week features either a live performance by a comedian, musical artist, slam poet, spoken word artist or magician or an open mic night during which Ramapo students have the opportunity to showcase their talent. This Tuesday, December 6th, head to Friends Hall at 10:00 p.m. for Tuesday Night Live, featuring the music group Broken Beak. Check out this link for more information on the band!

Weekend Edition 11/17-11/20
Thursday, November 17th head over to the Berrie Center’s Sharp Theater for Of Mice and Men at 8:00 p.m. There will be opportunities throughout the weekend to check out this engaging performance by fellow Ramapo students. Tickets are $5 for students and $15 for everyone else and can be purchased through this link or at the Berrie Center Box Office. Afterwards, join the College Programming Board at 10:00 p.m. in Friends Hall for 1920s Casino Night! This event will feature casino games, food from Chicken and Rib Crib, as well as mocktails. If you’ve always wondered what it would be like to live in the 20s, now is your chance to find out!
Friday, November 18th start off your evening in the Bradley Center as you cheer on the Women’s Volleyball team in their 7:30 p.m. game against John Jay College. At 8:00 p.m., stop by the Berrie Center for Of Mice and Men. Afterwards, join Public Safety at 9:00 p.m. in SC-158 for Madden Football Tournament. Students, faculty, and staff are invited to participate in the program, which is part of the new Public Safety Campus Outreach Program. Later, stop by Friends Hall for 1970s Craft Night! Projects will include DIY lava lamps and mini disco balls. In addition, special 70s candy will be served! The fun starts at 10:00 p.m.
Saturday, November 19th stop by the Bradley Center for the final day of the Roadrunner Tip off Tournament. The Women’s Basketball Team will either be playing at 12:00 p.m. or 2:00 p.m. based on their performance from the night before. Later, head to the Berrie Center for your final chance to watch Of Mice and Men. Finally, join the College Programming Board at 10:00 p.m. for 1990s Bingo. Students will have the opportunity to compete in a bingo game and win special 90s themed prizes.

Weekend Edition 11/10-11/13
Thursday, November 10th start of your weekend in a sweet way by joining the College Programming Board for Cupcake Decorating! Head over to the Alumni Lounges at 10:00 p.m. for an opportunity for all students to decorate and eat their own cupcakes.
Friday, November 11th head over to the Berrie Center’s Sharp Theater for the opening night of Of Mice and Men at 8:00 p.m. There will be opportunities throughout the next week to check out this engaging performance by fellow Ramapo students. Later, join Public Safety at 9:00 p.m. in SC-158 for Madden Football Tournament. Students, faculty, and staff are invited to participate in the tournament, which is part of the new Public Safety Campus Outreach Program. Finish off your evening by joining the College Programming Board for a special Pre-DVD release screening of Suicide Squad. The screening will take place in H-129 at 10:00 p.m, be sure to attend this special event.
Saturday, November 12th at 11:00 a.m., head to the Athletic Fields to support the Men’s Soccer team in their match against the College of Staten Island. The Roadrunners earned the first seed in their region of the ECAC playoff tournament, so be sure to stop by and show your support. Afterwards, stop by the Bradley Center to cheer on the Men’s and Women’s Swim Teams in their meet against Rowan University. Later, head to the Berrie Center for another chance to watch the Of Mice and Men performance at 8:00 p.m. Finally, join the College Programming Board and the Ramapo Music Club in Friend’s Hall for the annual Homegrown Music Festival. This student concert will feature Blind Eyez, Callout, and Hadar Baron. Food will be served!
Sunday, November 13th finish off your weekend with another chance to watch Of Mice and Men in the Berrie Center at 8:00 p.m.

Weekend Edition 11/3-11/6
Thursday, November 3rd head to the Bradley Center at 7:00 p.m. to support the Women’s Volleyball team in their NJAC playoffs match against Kean University. After finishing their season 23-4 overall and 8-0 in the conference, the first overall ranked Roadrunners are looking to compete for their first conference title in school history! The first 150 students with their student ID get into the game for free! Later, head to J. Lee’s for Trivia night at 10:00 p.m.! Sponsored by the College Programming Board, this event will feature a fun trivia game where students have a chance to win prizes. Chinese food will be served!
Friday, November 4th the College Programming Board is hosting Cultural Food Fest! Stop by the Pavilion at 10:00 p.m. for this event featuring food and entertainment from all around the world. Some of the highlights include a performance from the Brazilian Percussion Ensemble, and create your own lanterns! There will be a wide array of food, including Vietnamese, Chinese, Greek, and more. This event is something you will not want to miss!
Saturday, November 5th head to the Bradley Center to support the Men’s and Women’s Swimming teams in their 2:00 p.m. match against The College of New Jersey. Later, join the College Programming Board for Pottery Night! The fun begins at 10:00 p.m. in the Pavilion. Students will have the opportunity to paint their choice of pottery items. This event is always one of CPB’s most popular events of the year, so be sure to stop by!
The fun doesn’t stop over the weekend! This Tuesday, November 8th, head to Friend’s Hall for Election Night Coverage. Watch live coverage as we find out the results of the elections that took place throughout the day. Food will be delivered at 7:00 p.m., 8:00 p.m., and 9:30 p.m. Join your peers, faculty and administration in this safe and positive environment as we find out who our next president will be. This event is cosponsored by the Civic and Community Engagement Center and the College Programming Board.

Weekend Edition 10/27-10/30
Thursday, October 27th head to the Bradley Center at 7:00 p.m. to support the Women’s Volleyball team as they face Farmingdale State College. Later, get ready for Halloween by heading to J. Lee’s at 10:00 p.m. for Pumpkin Palooza. The College Programming Board is hosting this fun event where everyone will have the opportunity to paint and take home their own pumpkin. Apple cider and pumpkin treats will be served!
Friday, October 28th do you like candy? Grab some friends and join Commuter Affairs for Trunk or Treat from 3:30- 5:30pm in the parking lot by the Tennis Courts. Dress up and go car to car collecting candy with your friends. There will be a contest for the trick- or-treater with the best costume and also the best decorated car. Enjoy music and games that is fun for everyone! Later, join the College Programming Board in H-129 for Horror Movie Night! This event will feature a screening of The Exorcist at 9:00 p.m. and The Conjuring 2 at 11:00 p.m. Pizza will be served!
Saturday, October 29th start your morning off with community service by joining the Civic and Community Engagement Center for Habitat for Humanity. Students will work with the Morris County Habitat for Humanity to build houses for those in need. Sign up through orgsync. Transportation is provided, the bus will leave from the Bradley Center at 8:00 a.m. Additionally, at 9:00 a.m. the CCEC is also offering a Teaneck Tutoring trip. Students will have the opportunity to tutor young children in Math, Language Arts, and more! If interested, sign up on orgsync. Transportation is also provided. Next, head to the Athletic Fields at 1:00 p.m. to support the Women’s Field Hockey team in their final game of the season against Montclair State University. Stop by the Bradley Center at 2:00 p.m. to support the Men’s and Women’s Swimming Teams as they face New Paltz. In the evening, head to Friends Hall at 10:00 p.m. for Murder Mystery. Join the College Programming Board for this exciting experience where students will try to solve a Murder Mystery while eating dinner. Entertainment will be provided by Alpha Psi Omega.

Weekend Edition 10/20-10/23
Thursday, October 20th start off your evening in the Women’s Center for inClusive QTPOC at 9:45 p.m. This event is part of Queer and Trans History Month, and will be a discussion and support group for Queer and Trans people of color. At 10:00 p.m, head to J. Lee’s for Karaoke Night, sponsored by the College Programming Board. Join your friends and classmates to sing some of your favorite tunes or watch others perform. Snacks and Hot Chocolate will be served.
Friday, October 21st join the College Programming Board and RA Keivon for Saturday Morning Cartoons. Come to the Alumni Lounge for this event featuring some popular throwback cartoons. The cartoons that will be shown include Johnny Bravo, Scooby Doo, and Ed, Edd, n’ Eddy, and Codename Kid Next Door. All are welcome and encouraged to wear pajamas! Cereal will be served, in addition to food catered from IHOP.
Saturday, October 22nd start your day off by cheering on the Women’s Soccer team in their 1:00 p.m. match against Rowan University! Later, head to H-129 for a screening of Rocky Horror Picture Show. Join the College Programming Board for this event to get into the Halloween spirit!

Weekend Edition 10/13-10/16
Thursday, October 12th head to the Tennis Courts to support the Women’s Tennis team in their 4:00 p.m. match against the College of Staten Island. Afterwards, head to the Women’s Center at 7:00 p.m. for a screening of a Grey’s Anatomy episode. This screening is in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and will provide students an opportunity to watch a great show while learning about Breast Cancer Prevention. Snacks will be provided! Stick around after that event for inClusive QTPOC at 9:45 p.m. This event is part of Queer and Trans History Month, and will be a discussion and support group for Queer and Trans people of color. Finally, join the College Programming Board at 10:00 p.m. in H Wing Auditorium for Family Feud. Stop by to participate in this popular game show or watch your friends and classmates compete. Food will be served!
Friday, October 14th at 4:00 p.m. head to Friend’s Hall to join the Women’s Center Staff for LGBTQIA+ Etiquette. This event is a part of Queer and Trans History Month and will be an opportunity for students to learn proper eating etiquette as well as learn about proper etiquette to follow when speaking to the LGBTQIA+ community. Later, the College Programming Board will be hosting Fallon Friday in Friends Hall at 10:00 p.m. All Jimmy Fallon fans are encouraged to attend and participate in some of the popular games from his show such as Box of Lies and Wheel of Musical Impressions. Snacks will be provided!
Saturday, October 15th start your morning off with community service by joining the Civic and Community Engagement Center for Teaneck Tutoring at 9:00 a.m. Students will have the opportunity to tutor younger students in areas such as Math, Social studies, and Language Arts. Transportation will be provided. Anyone interested can sign up for this trip through orgsync. At 12:00 p.m., head to the Athletic Fields to support the Men’s Soccer team as they take on New Jersey City University. Stick around to watch the Women’s Field Hockey team compete against The College of New Jersey at 3:00 p.m. In the evening, join the College Programming Board at 10:00 p.m. in Friend’s Hall for Mystery Bingo. Test your luck by participating in bingo games for a chance to win prizes.
Sunday, October 16th work with the Civic and Community Engagement Center as well as the Overlook Hall Residence Life Staff at 9:30 a.m. for a MEVO Farm Clean Up. Transportation is provided for this trip where students will have the opportunity to work with this local organization in a clean-up initiative. If interested, sign up on orgsync. Later, head to the Athletic Fields to support the Women’s Tennis team as they take on Brooklyn College.

Weekend Edition 10/6-10/9
Thursday, October 6th join Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and the Student Government Association for After Dark: Sportsfest. This event is the beginning of SGA’s Oktoberfest weekend. Sportsfest will run from 10:00 p.m. until 2:00 a.m. and will feature volleyball, basketball, dodgeball, other sports and plenty of great food! This event will also feature a Super Smash Bro’s tournament!
Friday, October 7th the Oktoberfest fun continues with 3 more events! It all starts at 5:00 p.m. at the grove for a Chalking Competition. Student clubs and organizations will compete against each other to make chalk creations, competing for a grand prize of $500 added to their budget! Clubs and organizations can sign up through CPB’s orgsync page. Cookies and hot chocolate will be served! Students are encouraged to stop by to check out all of the designs and vote on their favorite! Then, head to the Birch Mansion from 7:00 p.m to 12:00 a.m. for Haunted Mansion. Alpha Psi Omega and SGA will present a fun and frightening experience for students to walk through the mansion. Sign up for a time slot ahead of time at Roadrunner Central or show up the day of. Donations will be collected for Unicef. Finally, head to Laurel Courts from 8:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. for Fall Fest. Join SGA for inflatables and other activities in the Oktoberfest spirit! Late Night Dining will be served outdoors at Laurel Courts for Fall Fest, and it will be free to all students featuring a “Best of the Wurst” style menu.
Saturday, October 8th start your morning off at 10:00 a.m. at the Tennis Courts for the Men’s Tennis Invitational. At 12:00 p.m., head into the Bradley Center to support the Men’s and Women’s Swimming Alumni Meet. Also starting at 12:00 p.m., stop by the Bandshell for the Oktoberfest Carnival. The carnival will feature inflatables, caricature drawings, music and much more! Food will be provided from Moes, Chicken and Rib Crib, Spring Street Deli, and other local restaurants. In addition, at 1:00 p.m. head over to the Athletic Fields to cheer on the Women’s Soccer team as they take on The College of New Jersey. Families are also encouraged to check out all of the events as a part of the Family Day activities.
