Weekend Edition 11/13-11/16

Thursday, November 13th join the College Programming Board for their Giant Game Night event at 10pm in Friends Hall! Come with friends and play some of your favorite throwback board-games! The bigger the games, the bigger the fun. It will feature Twister, Connect 4, Kerplunk, Jenga, Checkers, Yahtzee, and Plinko! Make sure you come with a big appetite, because after giant games there will be giant sandwiches for everyone to enjoy!

Friday, November 14th, the College Programming Board will be hosting a 90’s Karaoke Night at 10 pm in J. Lee’s. Come jam out with your friends to some of your favorite oldie tunes while enjoying some delicious food and beverages!

Saturday, November 15th at 9:30 a.m the Civic and Community Engagement Center will be hosting their weekly tutoring trip to Teaneck, NJ! They will be focusing on subjects such as Math, Language Arts, Social Studies and Arts & Crafts. No experience in tutoring is necessary. This project is great for students seeking CEC credit and for those in the process of receiving their teaching certification! This weekend, Ramapo will also be hosting the Roadrunner Tip Off Tournament! At 3pm, the Women’s Basketball team will play St. Joseph’s – Long Island at 3 pm, and Washington College –MD will be playing Brooklyn at 5pm. If Ramapo wins’ they will play again on Sunday at 2pm and if they lose their game they will play on Sunday at noon. But stay tuned, because the Men and Women’s Basketball teams really kick it into high gear next week, each playing home games on Wednesday, November 19th and NJAC openers against Rowan on November 22nd. Go Roadrunners!!

Also on Saturday, November 15th is the College Programming Board’s annual Homegrown Showcase at 10 pm in Friends Hall! Homegrown is a night of music from bands made up of your fellow Ramapo students. Come get a taste of the local sound!  It will be non-stop music fun all night long.
