Jane Gorman (Pronouns: she/her/hers) holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Fordham University. She is a currently a Doctoral student in Clinical Psychology at William Paterson University.
Jane has previously trained in two clinics within the Coping with Unique Experiences (CUE) team at Mount Sinai’s Icahn School of Medicine. Within these roles, she conducted diagnostic evaluations with youth and adults who were at risk for psychosis and who had other comorbidities, such as OCD, PTSD, personality disorders, anxiety, and depression. She also provided individual therapy and family-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) intervention to clients and their families.
Jane is interested in helping young adults who struggle with mood and anxiety issues; self- esteem and body image challenges; psychotic symptoms; and, emotion dysregulation.
Jane enjoys traveling, particularly to the U.S. National Parks; reading thriller/mystery novels; listening to true crime podcasts; making coffee-based beverages; and, spending time with her family’s three dogs.
