Favorite Class: My favorite class is the energetics class that I took with Professor Larson. It is a nice brain break from my rigorous academic courses where I get to appreciate body movement and experience the soul and mind benefits of the practice. Sue makes the class fun and engaging, and I would recommend taking any class with her. She is a lovely, caring, and understanding professor.

Favorite Place on Campus: My favorite place on campus is the Salameno Spiritual Center. It is a beautiful open area where I love to relax and appreciate the nature of the campus. I also love sitting in the Adirondack chairs and do my schoolwork while soaking in the sunshine and enjoying the peaceful nature of the space.

Clubs/organizations: Ramapo Admissions Student Ambassador (Tour Guide) – I love speaking to prospective students about their future plans and sharing the great resources and opportunities Ramapo College has to offer students! I also love sharing my personal college journey and experiences to assist and guide students in making their college decisions. I’m also a member of Filipino American Student Association (FASA) – Internal Vice President, American Cancer Society (ACS) – Head of Decorations, Nursing Student Organization, and United Asian Association!

Future Plans: Post graduation, I plan to become a travel nurse so I can do what I love professionally while still engaging in my personal dreams to travel the world. I would also like to own a small business selling my crafts one day.

Advice for First-Year Students: If you are struggling with school, your mental health, or anything, NEVER EVER be afraid to ask for help! This journey is not meant to be done alone- we are all here to support you. Asking for help is not a sign of weakness, but rather a sign of inner strength and self-love!
