FYS Class:

Class of: 2027

Major/Minor: Elementary Education with a Sociology Minor

Resident/Commuter: Resident

Favorite Class: EDUC 222 because I get to go into a school and work directly with students. It gives me real experience, helps me build connections, and makes learning more hands-on and meaningful.

Favorite Place on Campus: The library because it’s a quiet space where I can stay focused and get work done. It also has a great atmosphere, and having a Starbucks there makes it even better.

Clubs/organizations: FTAR: Future Teachers at Ramapo

Favorite Inspirational Quote: “Hard times don’t last, but tough people do.” Robert H. Schuller

Advice for First-Year Students: Don’t try to do everything perfectly. Focus on learning, meeting people, and getting involved. Step out of your comfort zone early, ask for help when you need it, and stay consistent with your work. The small habits you build now will set you up for the rest of college.
