Giuliana Riccobono

FYS Class:

Class of: 2028

Major/Minor: Elementary Education/Special Education 4+1

Resident/Commuter: Commuter

Favorite Class: My favorite class has been Science 4 Elementary Educators because of Professor Hoffman, and also it being such a hands on class. I loved that it was asynchronous so we only met every other week, and every time we met in class we did an activity and were genuinely learning something valuable every time!

Favorite Place on Campus: My favorite place on campus is probably the library because it has everything I need to be able to focus and get my work done. There is comfy seating by the windows, there are bathrooms and private rooms on every floor, a Starbucks, and all the supplies and book you need to succeed!

Clubs/organizations: Delta Phi Epsilon Sorority, Future Teachers of America, Alpha Lambda Delta National Honors Society, Orientation Leader Program

Future Plans: My future plans are to graduate with my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education in 2028, then receive my Master’s degree in Special Education in 2029. Post graduation, I would like to start applying for jobs and be able to settle in and find a school district that is right for me! I would also love to continue to make music which is a passion of mine.

Favorite Inspirational Quote: “If you don’t ask, you don’t get” – My dad

Advice for First-Year Students: A piece of advice I would give to first-year students is to never be afraid to reach out with any comments, questions or concerns you ever have. Ramapo is truly a community and feels like home and there is always someone to help and support you through anything you need.
