FYS Class:

Class of: 2028

Major/Minor: Nursing Major with a Minor in Public Health

Resident/Commuter: Resident

Favorite Class: My favorite class at Ramapo has been Anatomy and Physiology. Although the coursework is tough at times, I really enjoy the content of the class and the labs are always fun. A&P has definitely prepared me well for the Nursing curriculum to come!

Favorite Place on Campus: My favorite place on campus is the Dunkin because it is the best place to grab a coffee and snack before class.

Clubs/organizations: As a Nursing major, I am a part of the Nursing Student Organization (NSO) which organizes study sessions and small service projects. I love being in this club because it allows me to connect with other nursing majors and support my peers.

Future Plans: After graduating and becoming a registered nurse, I plan on securing a job in the L&D unit within a hospital and making a difference in people’s lives. I want to enjoy my RN position for some time and then pursue my Master’s Degree later in life.

Favorite Inspirational Quote: “Don’t be afraid to fail. Be afraid not to try.” – Michael Jordan

Advice for First-Year Students: A piece of advice I would give to first-year students would be to make time for your hobbies, whether it be taking a walk with a friend or reading a few pages of a book. It makes all the difference in helping you de-stress!
