Favorite Class: My favorite class was Introduction to Psychology during my first semester in Fall 2025. It offered a refreshing perspective by allowing me to explore the mind on a deeper level and better understand how we perceive and interpret behavior, especially as a nursing major. From that experience, I was able to expand my thinking and continue building a stronger interest in psychology and the medical field.

Favorite Place on Campus: My favorite spot on campus is the library because it gives me a calm and focused environment where I can stay productive and organized. It’s a place where I can fully concentrate on my work, whether I’m studying for exams or catching up on assignments. It’s nice to have a quiet and reliable space as it helps me stay motivated especially as a commuter, while also giving me a sense of balance during busy and stressful weeks.

Clubs/Organizations: One of the organizations I’ve joined on campus is the Filipino American Student Association (FASA), and it has been such a meaningful experience for me. Being part of FASA has allowed me to stay connected to my culture while also meeting new people who share similar backgrounds and values. I really enjoy how supportive the community is, and how it creates a space where I can both express myself and learn from others. I’ve been able to build friendships and celebrate my identity in a way that’s both fun and empowering.

Future Plans: My future plans include gaining hands-on experience through internships and volunteer work while staying on track with my nursing degree. I also plan to use Ramapo’s resources and stay involved in campus activities to grow both personally and professionally.

Favorite Inspirational Quote:“Padayon ragyud ta sa kinabuhi.” In English – “We keep fighting and pushing forward in life.”

Advice for First-Year Students: Take everything one step at a time, growth doesn’t just happen all at once but every step of the way matters <3
