Favorite Class: Islamic Art and Architecture with Professor Pinar is super fun because of the projects. I also really liked my Pop Culture class I took during my exchange semester in Japan.

Favorite Place on Campus: The tables near the Starbucks in the library because its a nice area to take a break from studying.

Clubs/organizations: I’m a photo editor and photographer for the Ramapo News and a photographer for the Ice Hockey team. I’m also a Global Roadrunner, I help plan and volunteer at events to promote study abroad.

Future Plans: I am studying abroad again for three weeks in Stockholm, Sweden, over the summer. I am also looking into into applying for a Fulbright or a similar program for after I graduate!

Favorite Inspirational Quote: “Just do it” – Nike

Advice for First-Year Students: Don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone, and put yourself out there. It seems terrifying at first, it gets a little less terrifying when you realize everyone else is as scared as you are. Also, I cannot stress this enough, get involved! I’ve met some of my greatest friends through the clubs and organizations I joined in my first year.
