FYS Class:

Class of: 2029

Major/Minor: Biology Pre-Dental

Resident/Commuter: Commuter

Favorite Class: My favorite class is Biology lab because I find it really interesting to dissect and see how everything works up close. I like that it’s hands-on and lets me actually apply what we learn in lecture, which makes the material easier to understand and more engaging :)

Favorite Place on Campus: My favorite place on campus is The Grove because it’s a really nice outdoor area where I can sit, relax, and still be productive when the weather is nice. I also really like the library because it’s the best environment for me when I need to focus. It has all the resources I need, and it’s a quiet, structured space that helps me stay focused and complete all my work!

Clubs/Organizations: I am a part of the Pre-dental club, Pre-med/Pre-health club, Biology club, and the Ramapo College Dance Company.

Future Plans: My future plans are to attend dental school and hopefully become either an orthodontist or pediatric dentist, while gaining experience through shadowing and healthcare involvement.

Favorite Inspirational Quote: “Everything happens for a reason.”

Advice for First-Year Students: A piece of advice for first-year students is to get involved as early as possible, even if it feels like a lot at first. Joining clubs, meeting new people, and taking part in activities can really help you feel more connected as you adjust to college. Staying organized and keeping up with your work will also make it easier to balance everything. Be patient with yourself and trust that things will come together as you settle in!! :)
