Favorite Class: Introduction to Psychology because the professor made the class interesting and engaging.

Favorite Place on Campus: The Library because it’s beautiful, I can always focus better on my work there, and I like working in study rooms with my friends.

Clubs/Organizations: Black American Music Club

Future Plans: I plan become more actively involved in community service both the Mahwah area and my hometown to give back and gain more experience working with diverse communities. After graduation, I aim to teach at the elementary level and pursue certification in Early Childhood Education. I also intend to further my education by earning a master’s degree in Education to continue developing my skills as an educator.

Advice for First-Year Students: A piece of advice for first-year students would be to try to make at least one friend in every class. This gives you someone to study and work with, while also helping you build new friendships- it’s a win-win situation.
