Favorite Class: My favorite class has been anatomy, although I haven’t taken anatomy in college yet, it was one of my favorite subjects in high school, and it’s something I’m excited to explore further as I pursue a career in medicine.

Favorite Place on Campus: My favorite place on campus is the Atrium because it’s where I spend a lot of time with my friends after class. We can study, eat, and just relax there, and I like that it’s kinda like a central spot where everything is nearby.

Clubs/Organizations: I’m an active member of the Association of Latinos Moving Ahead (ALMA), where I served as a Freshman Representative and helped promote events and keep students engaged. For my second year at Ramapo, I’ll be moving into the Social Media Chair position, where I’m excited to bring more creativity and energy to our content and connect with even more students.

Future Plans: My future plans are to finish my degree in Biology while gaining as much experience as possible in the medical field, and then attend medical school. My goal is to become a surgeon and use my skills to help others and make a difference in people’s lives.

Advice for First-Year Students: As a first generation student, my advice would be to step out of your comfort zone and take advantage of every opportunity. It can feel overwhelming at times, but getting involved, asking questions, and building connections can make a big difference in your experience and growth.
