Major/Minor: Biology

Resident/Commuter: Resident

Favorite Class: My two favorite classes are my labs for chemistry and biology. I like them the most because they are hands on and active and everyone in the class interacts with each other. Everyone walks around to other tables to ask questions and help each other and I feel like the shared experience kind of bonds the class.

Favorite Place on Campus: My favorite place on campus is the tables outside of the pavilion. Whenever it is nice enough to sit outside me and my friends will sit there to do our work or just eat lunch and talk. It makes regular things like homework fun and seeing people walk by and see the campus being active makes me happy.

Clubs/Organizations: I joined enactus this semester and plan to stay in it the rest of my time at Ramapo.

Future Plans: I plan to get a job this summer to get any type of experience and then try for internships in summers after this one. I am still trying to figure out exactly what I want to do with my biology degree and hopefully taking different types of classes and doing internships will help me decide.

Favorite Inspirational Quote: “Your degree is more than paper, it’s proof that you kept going when it was easier to quit.”

Advice for First-Year Students: Even if it is scary do your best to put yourself out there and get involved as early as possible.
