FYS Class:

Class of: 2028

Major/Minor: Medical Imaging

Resident/Commuter: Commuter

Favorite Class: My favorite class is my math class because I always enjoy learning new methods and enjoy the subject in general.

Favorite Place on Campus: My favorite place on campus is the library because I’m able to get my work done and study efficiently. I also enjoy that there’s a Starbucks, so I’m able to get my coffee and work all in the same place.

Clubs/organizations: I am currently an RCNJ influencer. With this, I do videos and inspire others to apply to Ramapo and just show the campus off!

Future Plans: My plans consist of studying abroad and applying for internships. I also plan on becoming actively involved with school programs, as I am just starting with the peer facilitator program and I am also an RCNJ influencer. After I graduate, I plan on becoming an ultrasound technician. I also plan on continuing my education further by getting my master’s in business since I am also a licensed cosmetologist and cosmetology is something I am very passionate about.

Favorite Inspirational Quote: “Para mis padres que llegaron sin nada pero me lo dieron todo” which translates to “For my parents who came with nothing and gave me everything”, this quote keeps me going because my parents did the impossible for me. As a first-gen student, I have to keep going for them, since I have the opportunities they never had.

Advice for First-Year Students: A piece of advice that I have for first-year students is to keep going no matter the struggle. Coming into college is very scary but there’s always going to be bumps on the road, but the final destination is worth it.
