Major/Minor: Elementary Education/Special Education

Resident/Commuter: Resident

Favorite Class: My favorite class is Teaching Principles and Practices because it dictated my commitment to the teaching program. I have learned so much in this course, and I can’t wait to use the skills I have learned in my future endeavors.

Favorite Place on Campus: The library is my favorite place on campus because it is a clean and nice environment to quietly do homework and focus on important work.

Clubs/Organizations: I am a part of the Delta Phi Epsilon sorority as the Vice President of Equity and Belonging. I listen to any campus diversity and inclusion committees to collaborate with and serve as an outlet for concerns related to equity, access, belonging, and representation.

Future Plans: I am currently waiting on an amazing job opportunity I had applied for months ago to work for Teach for America.

Favorite Inspirational Quote: “Don’t wait for something in life because life comes from you not at you”

Advice for First-Year Students: Keep an open mind, join clubs, and explore new relationships because those make a huge impact on your college experience. Never put on a show, be true to yourself and be who you are because people will respect and love you for who you are.
