Ramapo College, through the Anisfield School of Business, offers a 30 credit M.S. in Accounting (MSAC) program that prepares students to become Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) and effective professionals in accounting and control functions in for-profit and not-for-profit organizations.
This is accomplished through a comprehensive learning experience in both advanced accounting and CPA exam preparation. Students in combination with previous credits from their bachelor’s degrees will attain the 150 credits required for CPA licensure, and the professional preparation to excel in today’s complex and rapidly changing financial reporting environment.
MSAC graduates will possess an in-depth understanding of the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles that will enable them to appropriately identify financial problems and employ the applicable research skills necessary to provide effective solutions to improve business practices. Our graduates will also develop skills that are necessary to accurately identify current emerging domestic and international issues in the accounting profession. Topics include Forensic Accounting, Fraud Examination and Advance Auditing, and Data Analytics.
Thank you for your interest in the Master of Science in Accounting program. At Ramapo College, the faculty and professionals associated with the MSAC program are dedicated to your success. From inquiry to graduation, we provide you with 1-on-1 attention, academic and career guidance and advisement, and experiences that will enable you to be a better prepared leader in your field.
