  • Antonino LaRosa ’19 (Editor-in-Chief): I am a Junior at Ramapo College pursuing degrees in Law & Society and Political Science. I have an interest in American government, public policy, and sustainability. I am employed on campus as a Resident Assistant. Editing for the Ramapo Journal of Law & Society has allowed me to improve on and utilize writing skills I have learned. After graduation, I hope to seek further education and work in my fields.
  • Timothy Hecker ’18: My name is Timothy Hecker and I’m a sophomore Law and Society student with minors in international issues and creative writing, hoping to enter advisement for politicians, satire writing, and perhaps diplomacy. I wanted to go to law school but have changed course to focus more on the skills I enjoy using like writing and lecturing, as I plan on getting a doctorate in public policy. I love the New York Mets and watch very little traditional TV. I enjoy Anime, old cartoons, as well as a few legal dramas like Law and Order and House of Cards. I love watching Jon Stewart and Bill Maher and identify as a liberal but I try to appreciate both sides of a debate. Hopefully this journal impresses and enlightens you!
  • Sabrina R. Santamaria ’19: I am currently studying Political Science, and I hope to minor in Public Policy as well as Creative Writing. At Ramapo thus far, I have been a member of The Student Government Association, Ramapo Admissions Student Ambassadors, Alpha Lambda Delta, The National Society of Collegiate Scholars, The SSHGS Pathways Program, and Phi Alpha Delta. After my studies at Ramapo, I plan to attend law school to pursue a career as either a family or entertainment attorney. I have always had a passion for writing and learning more about the law. With the RJOLAS, I am able to learn more about law related topics, through others’ writings, as well as express my own thoughts on similar matters. I hope that every piece read from this journal provides each reader with new insight and a better appreciation for the study of law. • James Grissman ’19: I am a Junior at Ramapo College, where I am currently pursuing degrees in International Studies and Spanish with a minor in Public Policy. I am interested in international relations, American politics, and public policy. On campus I work as a Resident Assistant. After graduation, I plan on attending graduate school to pursue a master’s degree. The Ramapo Journal of Law and Society has allowed me to expand my academic abilities and I hope that it provides individuals with a deeper understanding of pertinent issues.
