Every semester, the Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies awards internships to two Ramapo students. Interns hired in the fall semester will have the option to continue on in the spring (with a different set of responsibilities), pending their performance and at the discretion of the CHGS director. Interns will receive the prevailing wage for student employment (of a similar type).

Requirements
- Junior or Senior at Ramapo College of New Jersey
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Ability to travel to off site locations
- College-level coursework in Holocaust or Genocide Studies preferred
Center Campus Intern
Marketing and Promotion
- Prepare marketing materials (fliers and graphics) for Center events and programs
- Liaise with student groups to promote the Center and solicit cooperation
Exhibition Creation
- Assist the director in producing physical exhibits for our campus space
- Assist the director in creating online exhibits using various Digital Humanities tools
Staffing Lead
- Coordinate student staffing of Center programs and events
- Ensure that events are well prepared to run smoothly from start to finish
- Staffing the welcome desk at Center events (or ensuring that it is staffed)

Miscellaneous Support
- Office and logistical support as necessary
Center Partnership Intern
Czech Scroll Initiatives
- Communication
- Communicate with participating institutions in coordination with the director
- Maintain detailed contact lists to support Czech-scroll related projects
- Update and maintain the Czech-scroll website
- Programming
- Prepare and transport materials for Czech-scroll programs
- Support the staff of Temple Beth Tikvah in executing our programs
Pedagogy Programs
- Assist the Pedagogy Programs Administrator (PPA) with basic tasks related to the implementation of the programs they oversee, including research, creation of materials, and logistical support
- Join the PPA or director on site visits as necessary and beneficial
- Serve as a liaison between the Center and Teacher Ed students
