ADA Accessibility for Digital Course Materials

On April 24, 2026, new rules go into effect regarding the accessibility of digital course materials, including Canvas, PDFs, Word and Google Docs, Powerpoints, videos, and any other electronic material distributed to students.

This workshop will work through each of the major components of the Guide to ADA Accessibility for Course Materials. The workshop will help instructors redesign their course materials to be in compliance with the new rules. The workshop will be recorded and posted on the IDC Workshop Recordings page.
