Thursday, October 26th start off your weekend by attending the College Programming Board’s Halloween Bingo. Join us at 10:00 p.m. in Friends Hall, where students will compete in bingo games for special Halloween prizes. We hope to see you there!
Friday, October 27th the College Park Apartment Residence Hall Council is hosting a Halloween Party! Join them from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. alongside RA Becca & RA Gabby in the CPA Lodge! The party will feature pumpkin painting, face painting, games, prizes, pizza, and Sugar Factory drinks! Later, head to Friends Hall at 10:00 p.m. for Rocky Horror Picture Show, sponsored by the College Programming Board. This event will feature a screening of Rocky Horror Picture Show with a live shadow cast that promises to get the audience involved. You won’t want to miss this fun opportunity!
Saturday, October 28th start off your day in the Bradley Center by supporting the Women’s Volleyball Team in their 10:00 a.m. match against Keystone College. Stick around for their second match of the day against Mount Saint Vincent at 2:00 p.m. Also at 2:00 p.m., the Men’s and Women’s Swimming Teams have a meet against Kean University. Later, head into Friends Hall for the Last Minute Costume Contest at 10:00 p.m. Students who attend the event will be instructed to make a last minute costume out of the materials provided and will be judged for prizes! You will not need to come in a costume, all materials will be provided for you at the event! Think of it like “Project Runway” but with costumes! We hope to see you there!
But the fun doesn’t end with the weekend! Every Tuesday, the College Programming Board presents the Tuesday Night Live Series. Each week features either a live performance by a comedian, musical artist, slam poet, spoken word artist or magician or an open mic night during which Ramapo students have the opportunity to showcase their talent. This Tuesday, October 31st, head over to Linden Hall at 9:00 p.m. for Open Mic Night! In celebration of Halloween, CPB will be holding a costume contest and raffling off a bag of candy, so we hope to see you there. This event is cosponsored by WRPR and Linden Hall.

Thursday, October 19th join the College Programming Board and Ramapo Music Club in J. Lee’s for a special Thursday Open Mic Night. This event is specifically focused on acoustic performances as well as poetry, comedy, and spoken word acts. Feel free to come and perform or simply stop by and watch others perform. Food will be served! The event starts at 9:00 p.m. so we hope to see you there!
Friday, October 20th the College Programming Board is hosting Pumpkin Palooza. This event will feature fun foods and activities that you will not want to miss! You can paint your own pumpkin, participate in a create a DIY apple crumb treat, as well as snack on pumpkin treats and apple cider. We’ll see you there at 10:00 p.m. in Friends Hall!
Saturday, October 21st start your day off by heading over to the Athletic Fields to support your Roadrunners. First, the Men’s Soccer Team has a 1:00 p.m. game against NJAC rival Rowan University. The team is celebrating senior day, so be sure to arrive early for the pregame ceremony honoring the team’s seniors. Next, head into the Bradley Center for the Men’s and Women’s Swim Team’s first home meet of the year as they face off against Arcadia University at 2:00 p.m. Afterwards, head back outside to support the Women’s Field Hockey Team in their game against NJAC rival Stockton University at 3:30 p.m. The Field Hockey team is also celebrating senior day, so make sure you arrive early for a pregame ceremony honoring the team’s seniors. Later, stop by the Student Center for Self Defense Classes, sponsored by CPB at 10:00 p.m. Public Safety is hosting their Rape Aggression Defense class which will take place in the Alumni Lounges and is open to all female students. All students are also invited to attend a Krav Maga self defense class which will be held in Friends Hall. We hope to see you there!

Thursday October 12th the College Programming Board is hosting Trivia Night. Stop by Friends Hall at 10:00 p.m. to participate in this exciting and competitive night! Students will be led through themed rounds of trivia and will be competing for prizes. There will also be some Halloween rounds! At the end of the night, CPB will be announcing the performers for their Fall Comedy Show, so you won’t want to miss out on the special announcement!
Friday, October 13th celebrate your Friday the 13th by stopping by the College Programming Board’s screening of Beetlejuice. All students are invited to come watch this throwback comedy-fantasy film in H-129. We hope to see you there.
Saturday, October 14th show your support for the Roadrunners by stopping by the Women’s Soccer Game vs. New Jersey City University at 1:00 p.m. at the Athletic Fields, or the Women’s Tennis Match against Stockton University at the same time. The soccer team will be celebrating senior day and will be honoring all senior members of the team in a special pre-game ceremony, so you won’t want to miss that! Later, head into Friends Hall for the College Programming Board’s Alumni Concert. The show will be headlined by the solo artist Ehiorobo, and other bands include Pinstripe Loveseat and Burning in the Undertow. Doors open at 9:00 p.m. and pizza will be served! We hope to see you there!
But the fun doesn’t end with the weekend! This Tuesday, October 17th, head down to the Bradley Center for an evening of events sponsored by Ramapo Athletics. First, at 8:00 p.m., stop by Hype Night. This event will be promoting the Men’s and Women’s Basketball teams as a kickoff to their seasons. There will be free food, games and competitions, and many prizes that will be raffled off to students. Then at 10:00 p.m, stick around for the AfterDark. This event will also feature food and games, as well as Knockerball, a human bubble soccer game. You won’t want to miss these great events!

Thursday, October 5th head into the Bradley Center at 10:00 p.m. for After Dark: Sports Fest! This event is the kickoff to Oktoberfest Weekend, and will feature many games and activities, food, music, and much more! You won’t want to miss this great event!
Friday, October 6th continue the fun of Oktoberfest with the College Programming Board’s annual Chalking Competition. Clubs and organizations can sign up on OrgSync to create a chalking design and compete for money towards their organization’s budget. The fun starts at 5:00 p.m. at the Grove! Next, head to the Birch Mansion from 8:00 p.m. to midnight for a Haunted Mansion. AYO, the Theatre Honor Society will be leading haunted tours through the mansion. In addition, stop by the Laurel Courts from 8:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. for Oktoberfest: Fall Fest. This event will feature inflatables as well of tons of other games and prizes. In addition, Late Night Dining will be served starting at 9:00 p.m., free of charge for all students.
Saturday, October 7th start the day at the Bradley Center by supporting the Men’s and Women’s Swim Teams in their Alumni Meet at 12:00 p.m. Afterwards, stop by the Oktoberfest Carnival, which will take place from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Bandshell. The carnival will feature inflatables, pumpkin painting, and tons of free food! At 1:00 p.m., head to the Athletic Fields to support the Men’s Soccer Team in their NJAC game against The College of New Jersey. After grabbing some more food and having fun at the bandshell, come back across the street at 4:00 to watch the Women’s Field Hockey Team take on Rowan University in another NJAC matchup. These games are both worth 10 points on the #WeAreRCNJ app, so you won’t want to miss out! Later, head into Friends Hall for Big Prize Bingo at 8:00 p.m., where students can play bingo games and compete for tons of awesome prizes. There will also be a free ice cream bar for all to take part in at 9:00 p.m. Stick around afterwards for a screening of Hocus Pocus at 10:00 p.m. You won’t want to miss out on all of these exciting events!

This Tuesday, October 10th, head over to H-129 at 10:00 p.m. for Tuesday Night Live: Spoken Word! This event will feature a live spoken word performance from artist Herrison Chicas. Chicas is an inspirational artist and speaker who has performed on many large media platforms, reaching over 1.5 million people worldwide. For a preview of his work, follow this link! Thursday, September 28th start off your weekend in a competitive way by participating in the College Programming Board’s Grocery Bingo. Students will be led through many games of bingo, competing for different types of grocery prizes. You won’t want to miss your chance for a fun night and the chance to win some awesome food baskets!
Friday, September 29th support the Women’s Volleyball Team by watching their match against Muhlenberg College at 6:00 p.m. in the Bradley Center. The team is coming off of a huge win against NJAC rival Stockton University earlier this week, so be sure to stop by and cheer on the Roadrunners! Later, head to Friends Hall for the College Programming Board’s Life Size Chess and Fantasy Night. This event will feature games of life size chess, as well as other fun fantasy activities. We hope to see you there!
Saturday, September 30th head into the Bradley Center to cheer on the Women’s Volleyball Team in their 11:00 a.m. match against Union College. At 1:00 p.m., head out to the Athletic Fields to support the Women’s Soccer Team in their game against Rutgers University Camden. This game is a special “Student Game Day”, where there will be raffles and giveaways at halftime, as well as many more fun activities. In addition, the Women’s Volleyball Team has another match at 1:30 p.m. against Lebanon Valley College in the Bradley Center. As a reminder, all weekend games are worth 10 points on the #WeAreRCNJ app, so be sure to check into the events and receive your points! At night, stop by the Grove at 10:00 p.m. for Farewell to Summer. The College Programming Board event is celebrating the end of summer and will feature tons of food, outdoor activities, music and much more! You won’t want to miss this great event!
Sunday, October 1st join the Pre-Med/Pre-Health Club as they host the Dash for Diabetes 5K, a fundraiser to raise money for diabetes research. The Dash begins at 10 a.m. and will start at the Arch. Free food and refreshments will be served for all participants and prizes will be raffled. Ramapo students can buy tickets at Roadrunner Central for $10 before race day/$15 on race day. Non-Ramapo students can purchase tickets for $15 before race day/$20 on race day. Sign up before October 1 and get a free T-shirt. This year’s event is co-sponsored with the Biology Club, Chemistry Club, CPAs, Athletic Department, Women’s Soccer, Indoor Soccer Club, ALMA, Theta Phi Alpha, Fem in STEM, Math Club, Physics Club, and Mixed Martial Arts Club. Weekend Edition 9/21-9/23
Thursday, September 21st the College Programming Board will be hosting a screening of Spiderman Homecoming. Stop by Friends Hall at 10:00 p.m. for the opportunity to watch this exciting film. Pizza will be served!
Friday, September 22nd join the College Programming Board for Taste of Mahwah. This event will feature tons of free food from local restaurants. Students will try samples of the different foods and vote on their favorite restaurants. Food will be served in three courses: appetizers, main entrees, and desserts. The event starts at 10:00 p.m., but this will surely be a popular event so be sure to arrive early to secure your seat!
Saturday, September 23rd the Roadrunner teams have a full day of games so grab your Ramapo gear and get ready to cheer on your favorite teams. First, the Women’s Volleyball Team takes on William’s College at 11:00 a.m. in the Bradley Center. Then, at 1:00 p.m., you can choose to stay in the Bradley Center to watch the Women’s Volleyball Team take on Middlebury College, or head outside to the Athletic Fields to support other teams. Also at 1:00 p.m., support the Women’s Soccer Team in their game against Stockton University, or the Women’s Field Hockey Team in their game against Keystone College. You won’t want to miss this exciting day of Roadrunner sports! As a reminder, all weekend sporting events are worth 10 points on the #WeAreRCNJ app, so be sure to check in to receive your points! Later, head into Friends Hall for Painting and Mocktails. A professional Artist will lead students through a special Halloween-themed canvas painting! In addition, Mocktails will be served. This is a popular event so be sure to arrive early to grab a seat. We hope to see you there!

Thursday, September 14th looking to get involved in Greek life or learn more about our 25 organizations on campus? Head over to Meet the Greeks, held in the Laurel Courts from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. This annual event will feature a table for each Greek organization, as well as performances from some organizations. Rain location for this event is Friends Hall. Afterwards, stop by the College Programming Board’s Trivia Night. This event will feature a trivia competition where students can make teams and compete to win gift cards! The event starts at 10:00 p.m. in the Alumni Lounges, so we hope to see you there!
Friday, September 15th the College Programming Board is hosting Life Size Pac Man and Battle Ship. Stop by Friends Hall at 10:00 p.m. for the opportunity to participate in a real life version of these popular games. You won’t want to miss this great event!
Saturday, September 16th spend your Saturday cheering on the Roadrunners by supporting the Women’s Volleyball Team in their 10:00 a.m. match against St. Joseph’s College in the Bradley Center. Afterwards, head out to the Athletic Fields to watch the Men’s Soccer Team take on NJAC rival Montclair State University at 1:00 p.m. In addition, at 2:00 p.m., the Women’s Volleyball Team has their second match of the day, this time against Mount Saint Mary College. In the evening, stop by the Alumni Lounges from 8:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. to participate in an Escape Room. The College Programming Board will be transforming the Alumni Lounges into a fun challenge that students must work to escape. We hope to see you there!

Thursday, September 7th head outside to the grove area at 10:00 p.m. for CPB’s Semester Kickoff! This event will introduce you to the College Programming Board and all they have to offer. There will be food, music, tie dying, and more! A limited number of tie dye supplies will be provided, so students are encouraged to bring your own items to tie dye as well! We look forward to seeing you there!
Friday, September 8th the College Programming Board is hosting an outdoor screening of the hit film Wonder Woman. Head out to the Laurel Courts at 10:00 p.m. for the opportunity to watch this film before it has been released on DVD! Cotton Candy will be served!
Saturday, September 9th spend your afternoon at the Athletic Fields by supporting the Women’s Field Hockey Team in their home game against New England College at 1:00 p.m. Later, head up to Friends Hall for CPB’s Big Prize Bingo. This event will feature many competitive games of bingo where winners will receive huge prizes, such as a TV, Keurig, and gift cards! You won’t want to miss this!
Sunday, September 10th the Women’s Tennis Team has a 4:00 p.m. match against Bard College. Stop by the Tennis courts and show your support.

This Tuesday, September 12th, head over to H-129 at 10:00 p.m. for Tuesday Night Live: Hypnotist Larry Volz! This event will feature a live performance by the Hypnotist Larry Volz! Check out a preview of his work here! Volz is a Ramapo favorite, and will be returning to Ramapo after performing a full capacity show last semester, so be sure to arrive early to get a seat!

Thursday, April 27th, join the Women’s Center at Violet: A Space for Queer Women, at 9:00 p.m. in their office. Violet is a peer-to-peer discussion and support group for self-identified lesbian, bisexual, queer, and questioning cis and trans women. Then, make your way to Friend’s Hall to Get Down and Dirty with the College Programming Board at 10:00 p.m. Join CPB for a fun evening where all students will receive a flower pot and seeds to grow their own cactus. You can also decorate the flower pot if you choose. In addition, cups of dirt (pudding and oreos) will be served.
Friday, April 28th, join CPB and the Student Government Association at the Bandshell for Ramafest and the End of Year Concert. Ramafest begins at 4:00 p.m., and will feature food, inflatables, face painting, and more. Stick around for the End of Year Concert, which is headlined by the group We the Kings. Known for their hit song “Check Yes Juliet”, We the Kings is a Florida Based pop/rock Band. You will not want to miss this entertaining evening! The live music begins at 8:00 p.m. Please stay tuned on CPB’s social media for announcements about the plan for rain, if needed.
Saturday, April 29th, spend the afternoon supporting your fellow Roadrunners at the athletic fields! Start the sports filled day supporting the Baseball team at 11:30 a.m. as they play against Stockton University. Then, watch the Softball and Women’s Lacrosse teams both play Rowan University at 1:00 p.m. Next, support the Baseball team play Stockton and Softball team play Rowan again at 3:00 p.m. Then, join Disney Club and Commuter Affairs at Pizza Planet Event at 7:00 p.m. in J. Lee’s. The night will include pizza, slinky races, prizes, etch-a-sketch competitions, and so much more! End your night at CPB’s Extreme Musical Chairs event. Bring your competitive spirit to the bandshell at 10:00 p.m. because they will be giving away HUGE prizes to the winners, including a Play Station 4! This is our last event of the semester, and it is sure to be a hit. Hope to see you there! In case of rain, the event will be relocated to the Pavilion.

Thursday, April 20th, join the Women’s Center and healingSPACE for Take Back the Night at 8:00 p.m. in SC 158. The event happens around the globe and allows survivors of interpersonal violence to speak out on their experiences. Following the speak out, there will be a march to “take back the night” from perpetrators of sexual violence. There will be confidential on-campus and off-campus counseling support available. Then, head to the Bradley Center at 10:00 p.m. for the After Dark Sportsfest. Turn your competitive spirit on to prepare for a night of wiffle ball, 5 on 5 soccer, rock climbing, volleyball/basketball, corn hole and can jam, and much much more! Food will be served, including specialty pizzas as well as Cars Sandwiches and sides.
Friday, April 21st, pull out your capes for College Programming Board’s Movie Night: Lego Batman. Bring your friends to H-129 at 10:00 p.m. to see this hit movie before it has been released on DVD! In addition, all students in attendance will be entered in a raffle to win a Lego set!
Saturday, April 22nd spend your afternoon supporting the Women’s Lacrosse team at the athletic fields at 2:00 p.m. Then, get ready for summer vacation at CPB’s Beach Blast Bingo Night at 10:00 p.m. in Friends Hall. Be sure to bring out your competitive side as you participate in an exciting evening of bingo for the chance to win beach-themed prizes. Prizes include: Sunglasses, Donut and Pizza shaped tubes, and much more. We hope to see you there!
