Thursday, September 13th, you’re not going to want to miss out on the College Programing Board’s Tie Dye Night at 10:00 p.m. in Friends Hall. At this event, you can use your creative skills to make some colorful tie-dyed t-shirts. Supplies will be provided. We hope to see you there!
Friday, September 14th, start your day off by going to some sporting events! First, come on down to the Bradley Center to show your support for the Women’s Volleyball team at their game against Bard College at 4:00 p.m. Later, come to the Women’s Volleyball game against Mt. Aloysius College in the Bradley Center at 8:00 p.m. If you’re looking for more to do later, the College Programming Board is hosting a Movie Night in the Laurel Courts at 10:00 p.m. The movie that is going to be screened is Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. Whether you are a dinosaur fanatic, or just a fan of the Jurassic Park films, you will not want to miss out on this event! Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is a fast-paced movie featuring Chris Pratt that has won Oscars for both Best Sound and Best Effects. You will not want to miss out on watching this movie!
On Saturday, September 15th, there are many sporting events you may be interested in attending! First, at 11:00 a.m., you can show your support for the Women’s Tennis team in their game against The College of New Jersey at the tennis courts. Also at 11:00 a.m., come to the Bradley Center to watch the Women’s Volleyball team’s game against Penn State University Harrisburg. Next, at 1:00 p.m., come to the Athletic Center Turf to support the Men’s Soccer team in their game against New Jersey City University. At 3:00 p.m., you can come to the Women’s Volleyball team’s game against New Paltz at the Bradley Center. Then, at 4:00 p.m. at the Athletic Center Turf, come to the Field Hockey team’s game against Vassar College. If you’re looking for even more excitement, come to Glow Crazy at 10:00 p.m. in the Grove, hosted by the College Programming Board. This event will be a fun night out with your friends that will be glow in the dark themed and feature mini golf and more! Make sure you bring your friends to have loads of fun! Food will be provided!

Thursday, September 6th, make sure to come to CPB’s Semester Kickoff at 8:00 p.m. in Friends Hall! If you love to watch football, then this is the event for you! Come on down to watch the game between the Atlanta Falcons and the Philadelphia Eagles, while enjoying some delicious food! If football is not your thing, then come to the second event that CPB is hosting, the Speed Friend Meeting at 10:00 p.m. in J.lee’s! At this event, you will be able to mix and mingle with other fellow Roadrunners! We hope to see you there!
Friday, September 7th, you won’t want to miss CPB’s Friday Night Fun event in the Laurel Courts at 9:00 p.m. We will be hosting a Toilet Cart Race and a Sumo Wrestling competition! If you are a competitive person then you will love racing against your friends while sitting on a toilet cart, or fighting them while wearing a Sumo Wrestler suit! Food will also be served at this event. All are welcome to attend and compete!
On Saturday, September 8th, start your day by showing your Ramapride at various sporting events! First, at 1:00 p.m., show your support for the Women’s Soccer team in their game against Mount Saint Vincent on the Athletic Center field. Also at 1:00 p.m., come to the Men’s Soccer team’s game against John Jay College on the Athletic Center Turf. The Women’s Tennis team also have a match at 1:00 p.m. against Rutgers-Camden. If you are looking for more to do after all of these exciting sporting events, then come on by to Roller Mania hosted by CPB from 9:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. in the Aux Gym. Bring your friends to roller skate, enjoy some free food and music!
But the fun doesn’t end with the weekend! Every Tuesday, the College Programming Board presents the Tuesday Night Live Series. Each week features either a live performance by a comedian, musical artist, slam poet, spoken word artist or magician or an open mic night during which Ramapo students have the opportunity to showcase their talent. This Tuesday, September 11th at 9:00 p.m., CPB and WRPR will be hosting an Open Mic Night in the new Padovano Commons! The Padovano Commons can be found by the Spirituality Center. All are welcome to perform or to watch!

Thursday, April 26th, make sure to show your support for our Softball team at their games at 3:00p.m. and 5:00p.m. against Rutgers-Camden at the Softball field. If you are looking for some more excitement, come to the After Dark: Video Game Tournament at 10:00p.m. in Friends Hall hosted by Ramapo ESports, Sci-Fi Club, and Alpha Phi Omega. At this event, you will be able to play Super Smash Bros Melee, Super Smash Bros 4, and Pokemon Showdown to compete for some HUGE prizes! There will also be a drawing to win plushies, a gaming headset, giftcards, and Nintendo Switch! This event is also supported by Ramapo Smash Club, UAA, and the Technology and Animation Club.
Friday, April 27th, don’t forget to show your Ramapride at the Baseball game against Montclair State University at 3:30p.m. at the Baseball field! After that, join the College Programming Board and the Student Government Association for Ramafest and the End of Year Spring Concert in the Bandshell! At Ramafest, which will take place from 4:00p.m. to 7:00p.m., you can enjoy free food, live music, inflatables, and more! Make sure to stay afterwards for the biggest event of the year, the Spring Concert featuring Smallpools, the indie-pop band most well known for their song Dreaming! The openers will be Found Vegas, an alternative music group based in Essex County, NJ and fv, a band based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. If there is bad weather, look at social media Friday morning for location and ticket updates!
On Saturday, April 28th, join the College Programming Board for a Movie Night screening of The Disaster Artist, a movie directed by James Franco. This movie tells the story of an aspiring filmmaker, Greg Sestero, played by Dave Franco, and an infamous Hollywood outsider, Tommy Wiseau, played by James Franco, and how their meeting sparks the creation of the cult-classic “The Room.” The Disaster Artist was nominated for an Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay and James Franco won a Golden Globe for Best Performance. This is a movie you definitely will not want to miss!
On Sunday, April 29th, start your day by coming to the Softball games at 12:00p.m. and 2:00p.m. at the Softball field. Then, join the Disney Club for the End of the Year Ohana Luau at 12:00p.m. in the Grove! This event will feature a variety of island/beach themed activities such as Make Your Own Leis, a Hula-Hoop Competition, and more! Free food from Nicky’s and ice cream will be served! There will also be a special performance by Dance Company. At this event, please feel free to donate to the Worldwide Orphans. This event is co-sponsored by Dumbledore’s Army and Commuter Affairs.
But the fun doesn’t end with the weekend! Every Tuesday, the College Programming Board presents the Tuesday Night Live Series. Each week features either a live performance by a comedian, musical artist, slam poet, spoken word artist or magician or an open mic night during which Ramapo students have the opportunity to showcase their talent. This Tuesday, May 1st at 1:00p.m., the College Programming Board is hosting a Therapy Dog event in the Grove! If you are stressed with final exams, papers, and projects, come to this event to de-stress and play with some certified therapy dogs from Creature Comfort Pet Therapy! Make sure to come early as this is an extremely popular event and there are a limited number of dogs!

Thursday, April 19th, start your day off by showing support for the Softball team in their games against Rutgers-Newark at 3:00p.m. and 5:00p.m. at the Softball field. Then, at 3:30p.m., come to the the Baseball team’s game against William Paterson University at the Baseball field. After all this excitement, if you’re looking for a way to relax, make sure to come to Spa Day hosted by the College Programming Board at 10:00p.m. in the Alumni Lounges. If you need to have a chill night away from final examinations and projects, come to this event to enjoy a coffee bar, snacks, a massage chair, and more!
Friday, April 20th, join the College Programming Board for Bingo Night at 10:00p.m. in the Alumni Lounges. If you want to beat your friends in an exciting game of Bingo to win some amazing prizes, this is the event for you! Make sure to bring your A-game!
On Saturday, April 21st, show your support for the Baseball team in their games against Rutgers-Newarks at 11:30a.m. and 2:30p.m at the baseball field. Next, at 12:00p.m. come to the tennis courts to show your support for the Men’s Tennis team in their game against Rutgers-Camden. Then, at 1:00p.m. and 3:00p.m., show your Ramapride at the Softball team’s games against Stockton University at the softball field. After this exciting day, if you’re looking for even more excitement, stop by at Getting Down & Dirty hosted by the College Programming Board in Friends Hall at 10:00p.m. At this event, you will be able to get your hands dirty while planting flowers, painting flower pots and snacking on dessert dirt cups! All are welcome to attend!

This Tuesday, April 24th, come to H-wing for a comedic performance by Fumi Abe! Fumi Abe is a Japanese-American stand-up comedian based in New York City that makes hilarious jokes about growing up as an immigrant in the Midwest, his family, and growing up as a millenial. He is most well known for his performances at The Stand, Broadway Comedy Club, Caroline’s on Broadway, FunnyBone and Laugh Factory. Thursday, April 12th, make sure to start your day by showing your Ramapride at the Baseball game against New Jersey City University at 3:30 p.m. at the Baseball field. Next, show your support for the Women’s Lacrosse team in their game against The College of New Jersey at 4:00 p.m. at the Athletic field. If you are looking for more to do, come to the Harry Potter Stuff-a-Plush event hosted by the College Programming Board at 10:00 p.m. in Friends Hall! Whether you are a huge Harry Potter fan or not, at this event you will be able to create your own furry friend! Make sure to come early, as supplies are LIMITED!
Friday, April 13th, if you are looking for a good time come to Pride Prom & Drag Show hosted by the College Programming Board and Ramapo Pride at 7:00 p.m. in Friends Hall. At this amazing event, you can enjoy a night filled with music, dancing, food and fun! This event will have Cars and wings, and you will also be able to watch drag queens perform! All are welcome to attend!
On Saturday, April 14th, come to multiple sporting events to support your favorite teams! At 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., show your support for the Baseball team in their games against Rutgers-Camden at the Baseball field. At 12:00 p.m., you can come to the Men’s Tennis match against Albertus Magnus College at the Tennis Courts. Later, if you’re hungry, come to Taste of Mahwah 2.0 hosted by the College Programming Board at 10:00 p.m. in Friends Hall. At this event food will be served from Cars, Jun Lung, Nicky’s and more! This is an event you will not want to miss!

This Tuesday, April 17th, head over to Linden Hall at 9:00 p.m. for Open Mic Night! All students are welcome to attend! This is the LAST Open Mic Night of the semester, and the last Open Mic Night held in Linden Hall before they are going to be held in the Padovano Commons! This event is cosponsored by WRPR and Linden Hall.

Thursday, April 5th, if you’re looking for a good time, come to Trivia Night hosted by the College Programming Board in the Padovano Commons at 10:00p.m. If you’ve ever wanted to use your knowledge to battle against your friends, this is the event for you! Come out to win some exciting prizes and to see who really is the smartest of them all!
Friday, April 6th, make sure to come to Relay for Life, starting at 4:00p.m. in the Bradley Center. This is an unforgettable event that commemorates the fight against cancer. There will be ceremonies, games, music and zumba! You can sign up and raise money through individual or team fundraising at this link. This is an event that you definitely will not want to miss!
On Saturday, April 7th, start your day by showing support for the Women’s Lacrosse team in their game against Farmingdale State at the Athletics Field at 1:00p.m. Next, make sure to come to the Softball team’s games against Rutgers-Camden at 1:00p.m. and 3:00p.m. at the Softball Field. If you’re looking for some more fun, come to Extreme Musical Chairs hosted by the College Programming Board at 10:00p.m. in Friends Hall. At this exciting and fast-paced event, you will be able to compete against your friends for a place to sit. Make sure to bring your A-game! Free snacks will be provided!

Thursday, March 29th, show your support for the Women’s Lacrosse team in their game against Maritime College at the Athletic Center Turf at 4:30p.m. If you are looking for more to do later, make sure to stop by at the After Dark: Sports Frenzy, hosted by Phi Alpha Delta, and co-sponsored by Brothers Making a Difference and Intramurals at the Bradley Center at 10:00p.m. At this event, you will be able to volleyball, basketball, soccer and other sports, as well as take part in zumba, video games, ping pong and rock climbing! There will be free food including pizza, wings, fat sandwiches, mozzarella sticks, and fries! There will also be amazing prizes! You won’t want to miss out on this exciting event!
Friday, March 30th, the College Programming Board is hosting a Cartoons & Coloring event at 10:00 p.m. in Friends Hall, which will be a relaxing night filled with coloring and watching your favorite cartoons! If you are looking for a chill night to hang out with your friends, this is the event for you! Coloring supplies will be provided!
On Saturday, March 31st, start your day supporting the Baseball team in their games against Rowan University at 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. at the Athletic Field. Later, stop by at Board Game Night hosted by the College Programming Board at 10:00 p.m. in Friends Hall! At this event, you can enjoy a relaxing night filled with board games such as Heads Up!, Clue, and Jenga! All games, and free food will be provided. All are welcome to attend!

Thursday, March 22nd, make sure to support the Men’s Baseball team at 3:30p.m. on the Jeff Maund Memorial Field in their game against Lehman College. After that, join the College Programming Board for Karaoke for a Kause in Friends Hall at 10:00p.m.! If you want to jam out to your favorite songs with your friends, this is the event for you! This event is co-sponsored by Relay for Life, so all proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society. There will be free snacks provided, and you will have the chance to win some amazing prizes! Whether you want to enjoy some free entertainment, or raise money for a good cause, make sure to stop by!
Friday, March 23rd, come to Athletic Center to show your support for the Men’s Tennis team at 3:30p.m. in their game against Hunter College. At 10:00p.m., the College Programing Board is hosting a Movie Night! The movie that will be screened is Star Wars: The Last Jedi, a movie from the epic Star Wars series that follows the story of Luke Skywalker and his encounter with Rey, a woman who wants to learn more about the Force. This movie was nominated for an Oscar for Best Achievement in Visual Effects. Even if you have never watched a Star Wars movie, but you are still interested in watching, you definitely should come to this event! All are welcome to attend!

Thursday, March 1st, join the College Programming Board for Saved by the 90’s in the Pavilion at 10:00p.m.! This event will be a night filled with games based off of 90’s game shows such as Legends of the Hidden Temple, Double Dare and Brain Search! If you want to compete against your friends and relive the 90’s, make sure to come to this event! The amazing prizes will also be 90’s themed, so you won’t want to miss out!

Thursday, February 22nd, join the College Programming Board for Silent Bingo in Friends Hall at 10:00p.m.! Have you ever wanted to try learning American Sign Language? Now’s your chance! At this event, you can learn basic American Sign Language, while playing a fun game of Bingo with your friends! This event is co-sponsored by the American Sign Language Club and the College Programming Board. All are welcome to attend!
Friday, February 23rd, the College Programing Board is hosting a Movie Night in the H-wing Auditorium at 10:00p.m.! The movie that will be screened is Coco, a film about the adventures of the young Miguel, and his dreams of becoming a musician like his idol, Ernesto de la Cruz! This movie was nominated for an Oscar for Best Animated Feature Film and won a Golden Globe for Best Animated Motion Picture! This event is co-sponsored by Disney Club and the College Programming Board. You won’t want to miss out on the screening of this amazing movie!
On Saturday, February 24th, make sure to come to Epcot Night, hosted by the College Programming Board and co-sponsored by Disney Club! If you want to experience cultural food from around the world, then come to Friends Hall at 10:00p.m.! Games and food will be provided!

Each week features either a live performance by a comedian, musical artist, slam poet, spoken word artist or magician or an open mic night during which Ramapo students have the opportunity to showcase their talent. This Tuesday, February 27th, head over to Friends Hall at 9:00p.m. for an exciting night filled with live music! The headlining performer is Kiley Lotz, the lead singer of the band, Petal. Petal is based in Scranton, PA and is best known for a melodic, indie rock sound. The opening groups are Well Wisher and Hit Like a Girl – both all female bands based in New Jersey.
