Weekend Edition 3/29-3/31

Thursday, March 28th, show your support for the Baseball team at their game against Farmingdale State College at the Baseball field at 4:00 p.m. Later, the College Programming Board is hosting Get Down and Dirty at 10:00 p.m. in Friends Hall. Join us for a fun evening where all students will receive a flower pot and seeds to grow their own flower. You can even decorate the flower pot. In addition, cups of dirt (pudding and oreos) will be served. See you there!

Friday, March 29th,  come to Relay for Life at 5:00 p.m. which is a 12-hour fundraising event for the American Cancer Society. This event signifies that since cancer never sleeps, neither do we. It is dedicated to those who have been touched by cancer and to show that you are never alone. Our goal is to celebrate more birthdays and to never have to hear the words “you have cancer” ever again. Money that is raised will be going to cancer research, transportation for cancer patients, and much more. We hope to see you there!

On Saturday, March 30th, come to the Men’s Tennis team’s match against The College of New Jersey at 1:00 p.m. on the Tennis Courts. Next, make sure to bring your school spirit to the Softball game against The College of New Jersey at 1:00 p.m. and at 3:00 p.m. on the Baseball field. If you’re looking for more to do later then come to Rammy Jammies hosted by the College Programming Board at 10:00 p.m. in the Alumni Lounges. At this event you can get comfy and jam out to some amazing tunes with your friends! You won’t want to miss out!

But the fun doesn’t end with the weekend! Every Tuesday, the College Programming Board presents the Tuesday Night Live Series. Each week features either a live performance by a comedian, musical artist, slam poet, spoken word artist or magician or an open mic night during which Ramapo students have the opportunity to showcase their talent. This Tuesday,  April 2nd, come to the Padovano Commons to Open Mic Night at 9:00 p.m. hosted by the College Programming Board and co-sponsored by WRPR for a fun night filled with live music! All are welcome to perform or watch!
