Weekend Edition 1/25-1/27

Thursday, January 25th join the College Programming Board for Painting and Mocktails! Looking for a fun way to relieve stress with your friends? Join us at 10:00p.m. in Friends Hall to relax while painting with your friends and sipping mocktails! Supplies and an instructor will be provided. We hope to see you there!

 

Friday, January 26th, the College Programming Board is having a Movie Night! Come through to kick back and watch Roman J. Israel, Esq. in the H-wing auditorium at 10:00p.m. Denzel Washington was nominated for an Oscar for his role in this film! Don’t miss the chance to watch this extremely thrilling movie before it comes out on DVD!

 

On Saturday, January 27th,  start your day off by showing some Ramapride at different sporting events on campus! First, come through to the Bradley Center to support our Women’s Basketball team in their game against Kean University at 1:00p.m. Then make sure to show some support to our Men’s and Women’s Swim team at their meet against Widener University at 2:00p.m., and then at 3:00p.m. stay to cheer on our Men’s Basketball team in their game against Kean University! If you want to have some more fun after this exciting day, make sure to come to a Casino Night hosted by the College Programming Board in Friends Hall at 10:00p.m.! If you want to hang out with your friends, play exciting casino games such as Blackjack, Texas Hold ‘Em, and Roulette to win amazing prizes, make sure you stop by! Food will also be provided!

 

But the fun doesn’t end with the weekend! Every Tuesday, the College Programming Board presents the Tuesday Night Live Series. Each week features either a live performance by a comedian, musical artist, slam poet, spoken word artist or magician or an open mic night during which Ramapo students have the opportunity to showcase their talent. This Tuesday, January 30th, head over to Friends Hall at 9:00 p.m. for a night filled with live music! The headlining group is Active Bird Community,  an indie-rock band based in Brooklyn, NY!  The opening groups are Bergy Seltzer and Clark Westfield. Check out this link to see a preview of Active Bird Community’s music! All students are welcome to attend, so make sure you check out these bands!
