Weekend Edition 11/30-12/2

Thursday, November 30th join Dumbledore’s Army, the Disney Club and Alpha Omicron Pi in the Alumni Lounges at 10:00 p.m. for the Yule Ball. This annual winter-themed dance promises to be an entertaining evening full of food, entertainment, and more! Food will be served from Nicky’s, Cars, and Ramapo Dining Services. There will also be music by WRPR, a performance by Forgotten Suitcase, and a photobooth. You won’t want to miss this great event!

Friday, December 1st looking to participate in a great cause? Look no further than Ramathon! Ramathon is an annual dance marathon that raises money for the Children’s Miracle Network. Are you interested? Sign up with a team and raise money through this link, and then participate in the event which will take place at 7:00 p.m. in the Aux Gym for an unforgettable experience!

Saturday, December 2nd the College Programming Board is hosting Pokemon Stuff a Plush! Join us at 10:00 p.m. in the Alumni Lounges for the opportunity to create your own pokemon stuffed animal! Supplies will be on a first come, first served basis, so be sure to arrive early!

But the fun doesn’t end with the weekend! Every Tuesday, the College Programming Board presents the Tuesday Night Live Series. Each week features either a live performance by a comedian, musical artist, slam poet, spoken word artist or magician or an open mic night during which Ramapo students have the opportunity to showcase their talent. This Tuesday, December 5th, head over to Friends Hall for a night of live music! The headlining group is Dowsing, a Chicago based indie-emo band! The opening acts are Toy Cars and Shark Club. Check out this link for a preview of Dowsing. Food will be served! The performance begins at 9:00 p.m.
