Michel Lauzière’s Science of Sound

January 12, 2017 @ 11:45 am - 1:00 pm

Michel Lauzière’s Science of Sound

SCIENCE OF SOUND is a highly interactive performance from acclaimed artist Michel Lauzière with a focus on science. Interspersed between his entertaining visual and musical numbers, Michel takes every opportunity to demonstrate how he gets his ideas, how he uses basic scientific laws to build his bizarre contraptions and his original musical instruments.

By watching Michel’s funny way of transforming noise into music, the audience is invited to learn about sound and how it works. He explains what sound is, how it travels… Does it travel only through the air? How can it be amplified? How can we hear it? …With visual examples, audience participation and Q & A’s, MICHEL LAUZIÈRE’S SCIENCE OF SOUND provides an entertaining experience with a touch of scientific fun!
