Franklin Turnpike: A Tribute to the Music of Tom Petty

February 9, 2019 @ 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Franklin Turnpike is an accomplished local Mahwah, N.J.-based rock band, that boasts two Ramapo College alumni. They have performed in more than 1,500 shows in 14 states and have shared the stage with the likes of Hot Tuna, Commander Cody, Eddie Brigati of the Rascals, Johnny Farina, Derek Trucks, Susan Tedeschi, Shannon McNally, New Riders of the Purple Sage, Frank Vignola, Levon Helm, and members of the Allman Brothers Band.

After the untimely passing of Tom Petty in the fall of 2017, Franklin Turnpike was asked to perform a tribute show in Allendale, N.J., to literally hundreds of adoring fans. The reception was so great that the band reprised the show in Mahwah, in the winter of 2018 and in Beach Haven, N.J., on Long Beach Island last summer.

Due to the overwhelming popular demand of this tribute show, Franklin Turnpike is embarking on a regional tour to bring the amazing legacy of Tom Petty to fans everywhere.
