The Office of Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Compliance (EDIC) invites all students, faculty & staff to join us for our annual Diversity Convocation featuring keynote speaker Rev. Nontombi Naomi Tutu. Rev Tutu is a motivational speaker and human rights activist, with a career that includes serving as an economist and development consultant in West Africa, Program Coordinator for the historic Race Relations Institute at Fisk University, and teaching at several U.S. colleges, to name a few. As the daughter of Nobel laureate Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Rev. Tutu has been offered many opportunities and challenges. Rev. Tutu is now a priest associate in Atlanta and she inspires with her message of justice, celebrating differences and acknowledging shared humanity.
