Debate Club

The Ramapo College Debate Club is dedicated to fostering critical thinking, public speaking, and respectful dialogue among students. Our mission is to create a space where diverse perspectives are welcomed and explored through structured debate and discussion.

We host weekly meetings that include practice debates, workshops on argumentation and rhetoric, and preparation for intercollegiate tournaments. Throughout the semester, we also organize campus-wide debates, collaborative events with other clubs, and public speaking forums to engage the broader Ramapo community.

Whether you’re an experienced debater or new to the world of competitive speaking, all students are welcome to join and develop their skills in a supportive and intellectually stimulating environment.
