Residence Life at Ramapo College
The Ramapo Residence Life program is based on a philosophy that residence hall living provides opportunities for students to gain a variety of experiences that supplement and complement formal classroom learning. We make every effort to promote academic achievement through our programs, to encourage students to develop interdependence, maturity, as well as responsible decision-making and life skills. The key to having a great experience is to get involved in your community.

Students who withdraw after September 16, 2015 will not be entitled to a housing refund. Please be mindful of the refund deadlines if you are considering withdrawing from housing.
Withdrawal from housing:
Students who withdraw from housing are no longer guaranteed housing. If you change your mind and decide to live on campus in the future, you must follow the re-application process. This process includes submitting a $200 non-refundable housing deposit and commuter housing application (applications are available in C-213). Once your application is received, your name will be placed on the commuter housing waitlist. If you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us. Those who withdraw after they have checked in to their housing assignment must go to their residence hall office and follow the check-out procedures there.
