The staff for Center for Academic Advising and First Year Experience (CAAFYE) would like to welcome you and your student to the Ramapo College community! We are dedicated to the successful academic and social integration of all of our students and are very excited to inform you of our many services. CAAFYE services include Academic Advisement, New Student Orientation (First Year Students/Transfers/ Readmits/Adult Learners/Families), Welcome Week, Retention Programs, Personal Development Workshops, Family Day, and the administration of specific groups within the MyRamapo/Luminis online community. We look forward to working with you so that your student may have a successful and enriching experience at Ramapo College.

Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)
The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education, governs the release of a student’s personal information with respect to their educational records. Students may consent to release this information to family members through the completion of a FERPA waiver. The FERPA Waiver can be found here. Bursar / Billing
Bills from Ramapo College are generated online and sent directly to the student’s personal account. Bills are not sent out in any paper format, so it is important to discuss financial information with your student. Learn more about payment deadlines and payment options by clicking here.

Study Abroad
One of Ramapo College’s four pillars is an international education. Through the Study Abroad Program, students have the unique opportunity to experience different cultures while studying and earning credits in various areas of the world. Registrar
The Mission of the Office of the Registrar is to provide a variety of academic services to students, prospective students, graduates, parents, faculty, staff and the general public. Among these services is a well communicated registration process and the maintenance of student records in an environment of integrity and security in compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act and other state and federal regulations. Scholarships
Available through the Office of the Provost and the Ramapo College Foundation, many scholarships are available to students in various levels of their education as well as many programs, majors, academic excellence, volunteering, and leadership roles.
