Post Baccalaureate Teacher’s Certification Aid Application Information

In order to receive financial aid, all applicants must provide their Social Security Number when applying for admission to Ramapo.  Students should follow the procedures detailed in the “Applying for Aid” section above.

Students who graduate from Ramapo must have their matriculation record updated if they enroll in the Post Baccalaureate Teacher’s Certification Program.  The Office of Financial Aid cannot make awards until the matriculation is updated through the Office of the Registrar.

Students enrolled in the Post Baccalaureate Teacher’s Certification Program  must be enrolled for at least 6 credits and are eligible only for the Federal Direct Student Loan programs, as well as various alternative private loan programs:

Post Baccalaureate Teacher’s Certification students are eligible for a Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loan of $12,500 for the year.  A valid FAFSA must be completed in order to check eligibility.
